Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

A retro, vintage poster advertising the classic supernatural horror movie The Curse of the Cat People. The movie was released by RKO Radio Pictures in 1943 and starred Simone Simon, Kent Smith and Jane Randolph. This wonderfully nostalgic advert from the public domain was created by American illustrator William Rose and features a selection of characters from the film. This reproduction image of the original poster has been remastered and converted to black and white.
I'm a travel photographer and photo artist. My images have been shot here, there and everywhere, mainly in the historic cities of Europe and with the occasional one taken in my own surroundings...
